And why does the gap between calling and commission feel so personal?
Calling is not a career path.
It is not a title you earn, a platform you build, or a moment of arrival you finally reach. Calling is the consistent pull of God on your life toward a purpose that is bigger than your comfort, your timeline, and often your current capacity. It is the thing you cannot shake — even when you have tried to walk away from it, even when it has not produced visible fruit yet, even when the people closest to you cannot quite see what you see.
Purpose is not a destination. It is a direction.
Women in this pathway have often spent years in purpose-discovery work. They have taken the tests, read the books, done the studies. They know they are called. What they do not always have is language for the gap — the distance between where they are right now and where God showed them they were going. That gap is not failure. It is formation.

Because God builds from the foundation up — not from the roofline down. What looks like delay is often construction. What feels like barrenness is often preparation. The process is not the problem. Not understanding the process — that is what makes it unbearable. I know what it is to be faithful for years — pressing forward, trusting — while the visible fruit takes its time. I know the weight of comparison, the silence of God in the waiting, and the gap between what He showed you and what is currently in your hands.
The framework I teach was not something I studied. God gave it to me through my own journey. The image of a house being built — every stage of construction mapped to every stage of calling. When I finally understood the process, it changed the way I walked through it. That is what I want to give you. Not arrival. Understanding.
